A little about One Drop:
One Drop is a Roots Rock Reggae band from San Diego, California. James Alger (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Melodica), Bart Neglia (Lead Guitar, Back up Vocals) Art Gener (Bass), John Mobley (Drums)

One Drop’s music embraces the California Beach Culture it emerges from. Growing up in an ethnic diverse area saturated with colorful sounds ranging from Reggae , R&B to Rock, the group is able to embrace the beautiful qualities of these genres and reproduce it in a unique style.

One Drop, (heavily influenced by Steel Pulse and The Police), has a captivating sound filled with melodic choruses, catchy guitar riffs, up beat rhythms and driving bass lines. Lyrical topics include economic/social hardships, heartbreaks, love songs, sunny days and the ups and downs of day-to-day life…

Over the past 3 years, One Drop has developed a huge following and a reputation as a “Must See Act”. The band performs live shows with incredible energy that drives the crowed into frenzy and packs the dance floor.

In March 2007, One Drop released its first self produced CD (EP) and is getting excellent reviews. Currently, the band has a busy Winter schedule, packed with several regional and local (San Diego) show dates and is eager for more opportunities to tour other cities and States. Plans for a full-length album are already in the works with recording dates underway and will continue through DEC 2007 and JAN-MARCH 2008. RELEASE DATE IN MAY 13th
