The talk around Orange County is that Heat Ultra Lounge, the newest upscale club and lounge in Orange County, located at the Gardenwalk in Anaheim, CA, is, or has been discriminating against Latinos. Many rumors have spread about these alleged discriminatory practices after a promotion company was fired after the first night in which they promoted. However, most are unsubstantiated rumors. Heat is not a racist club or prefers certain races over others. As of Friday, August 22, 2008, Heat works with Mak Entertainment on Saturday nights, in which one of the main promoters is Latino. Further, talks are in the works of the promotion company, Mix Armada joining Thursday nights at Heat with a contract in place to be signed. One of the partners of Mix Armada is a Latino and therefore, as a result of such conduct in bringing on these promoters for their business, this shows that in no way is Heat Ultra Lounge racist against Latinos.
